Facilities

We provide a fully accessible building, with free parking that is central to all major transport links. If you cycle we have bike stands and our spaces come with free wifi.

The Old School

When you arrive at the main entrance, we have an accessible door that leads you into a spacious foyer. From there, you can easily access the spaces and rooms within the building. We have ramps to navigate the slight inclines and wide doorways for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The first floor is made accessible by using a purpose built lift.

On the ground floor near the foyer we have baby changing facilities as well as an accessible toilet. Inside, our Wifi is free and coverage throughout the building is great, especially considering how thick the walls are!

For those hiring spaces, you’ll find a sink in each room (handy for art classes). All our furniture is now plastic or vinyl meaning everything can be cleaned before and after being used.

Outside, we have ample amounts of space for parking as well as lockable bike stands for those who choose to cycle. We’re now looking to renovate our outside areas to make them more accessible and interactive. You’ll be able to access the outside seating area from the pedestrian gate located on Willis Street.

Taylor Gallery

Opened in 2014, The Taylor Art Gallery hosts a rolling monthly exhibition programme of local artists and creatives. We welcome submissions from anyone wishing to exhibit or use the space.

Like the rest of the Old School, it’s a unique space but works very well for wall hung work or installations. If you would like to exhibit your work please get in touch e: taylorartgallery@gmail.com
